High Grounds Coffee Roasters is new to Glassboro and definitely puts a different twist on the cafe concept. Open daily through the evening, it has fresh roasted coffee from its sister business (Death of the Fox Brewing Company - one of my favorite cafes), delicious locally baked goods, a non-alcoholic cocktail and craft beer menu, kombucha, and hop water, plus 30 varieties of coffee flights! Whew, and I am sure there is more I am missing. Right…there is one more thing - live music on the weekends! Is it good? Well, I did visit them three times in the first four days they were open. I was lucky enough to catch their soft opening the Friday before their ribbon-cutting. After attending the ribbon-cutting, I met my Broker from LAMB Realty for coffee. We are just down the street, so I’m sure we will be here a lot with our agents and clients. The next day I met a Chamber of Commerce colleague for breakfast and even bumped into more peeps of mine. I recommend this café for their coffee, their sandwiches, and the great atmosphere. While there I witnessed business meetings, and people obviously on break from work or school. Had an ice coffee with vanilla and caramel drizzle and a croissant turkey sausage, egg, and cheese. The coffee tasted FRESH and not too sugary. The breakfast sandwich was good, cheese melted, eggs seasoned, just ask for a side of condiments if you don’t like it dry. Atmosphere is great, plenty of space to sit and plug up and study as well. Love it ❤️

This place is amazing! I had the crème brûlée iced coffee, absolutely delicious. I came back the following day for a funnel cake iced coffee… also incredible! Both days I enjoyed breakfast sandwiches inside and this place is so beautiful! The music is always great! Genuinely looking forward to being there again. If I lived closer, I would come daily! The Savory croissant is amazing to add on your breakfast sandwich. I also had a cheese danish, which was perfect! The employees here are so kind! I am so glad this place has opened in Glassboro. Next time I will be trying the Sunday brunch specials they offer, like baked French toast. I totally missed it last time. I love that they offer acoustic nights and other small events. This place is such a nice touch to Rowan!

Kyle, one of the chefs and I believe owner was fantastic. He was clear, kind, and direct. The food was made to perfection and the drinks were heavenly. On a side note all food is completely free from any and all harmful seed oils. I recommend this place to anyone who loves coffee shop hopping like myself!

I normally order whatever brew is available. I always drink my coffee black so I can actually taste it. The Peru blend is by far my favorite. Mexican blends and Sun King are also very good. Overall the coffee is great.. I never order the food so I can not comment there. One recommendation/suggestion - please consider changing the lids on the hot coffee. I always order a 12oz and the lid always leaks. I’ve noticed it leaks from where the cup is seamed together. It seems that the lids are a bit loose fitting thus not making a tight seal.

I walked down to this coffee shop one morning for breakfast. I wanted the vegetarian breakfast burrito which was not available, so I got the regular one which was delicious and filling. A side of hot sauce would go nicely with it. I also ordered one of the seasonal hot lattes titled 'nuts about you'. It was okay, very sweet, but I probably wouldn't get it again. I will definitely be back to try regular drip coffee. The atmosphere is very inviting and the employees were so kind. It's a great spot to set up a laptop and work, plenty of seating.

What an amazing atmosphere and such great coffee! My first time going was a wonderful experience. I ordered the cinnamon bun latte and cinnamon roll and blueberry muffin and it was all so delicious! Best coffee I’ve had in a very long time. It was a gentle, comfortable, friendly and relaxing environment. Definitely recommend and going back very soon. Thank you for the wonderful visit.

First time ordering. I placed a mobile order and got a 16oz cold brew with 2x oat milk and funnel cake and salted caramel flavor w cold foam. It was delicious and the perfect about of sweetness
